At ETC, we will always make what’s for dinner easy (remember, we deliver!), affordable, local and healthy!  As we head into a summer weekend, we want to grill and enjoy good food with family and friends. We want to keep it easy so everyone can enjoy their precious time together.

Our goal is to help you enjoy the most seasonal, fresh produce possible.  It’s summer and we can hardly contain our excitement for fresh locally-grown corn, tomatoes and arugula.  When you buy locally-grown produce, it tastes better and stays fresher longer in your refrigerator.

A Few Tips - Best Way to Store Produce

  • Store produce at reduced temperatures to increase its shelf life.

  • Don't stack produce.

  • Keep produce unwashed in storage.

  • Don't cut produce until you're ready to use it.

  • Store your fresh produce where there is some airflow (not in airtight containers or bags).

Local Caprese Burgers with Grilled Corn & Arugula Salad

  • Local Eckerlins Famous Beef Patties - 4

  • Local Handmade Buns - 4

  • Local Farmer Adam Tomatoes - 2

  • Local Roothouse Farm Summer Crisp Lettuce

  • Local Ohio Basil - 1/4 lb

  • Italian Mozzarella

  • ETC Pesto Mayo

  • Ears Georgia Corn – 4 ears

  • Local Arugula

  • Organic Lemon

 Serves 4


Recipe:

- Pre-heat Grill for Burgers & Corn

- Soak Corn in Water for 10 mins

-Wrap Corn in Foil after soaking in H20 and Throw on grill 

-Cook Corn for 10 mins until tender.

You can serve corn in the husk or Shuck and Grill for some Charbroiled flavor.

-Throw Burger on Grill

-Cook Burgers to desired Temperature

-For a medium Burger 3-3.5 mins on each side

-Grill Buns till crispy
- Slice Tomatoes and Mozzarella for Toppings
- Pick leaves of basil and lettuce for burgers

-Assemble with Pesto Mayo Layering condiments on top. 

For Salad:

-Place Arugula in bowl 

-Juice Whole Lemon right on top of Arugula

-Pour 1 Tablespoon of Good Olive oil on top and add a pinch of Salt and fresh cracked pepper for an easy and fresh Summer salad.  

-Toss all together to get dressing all over the beautiful arugula.

-Serve on side of Burger and Corn

For Vegetarians you can Sub out the Local Ground beef with Grilled and Seasoned Zucchini

For Vegans Sub Out Beef with Zucchini and Sub Fresh Mozzarella with Plant Based Mozzarella

For Gluten Free you can Sub out the Local Bun with a Leaf Lettuce Wrap.
